POWER Teens provides online resources including full-text research e-resources, collections of photographs and documents, the statewide catalog of materials held in libraries throughout Pennsylvania, and Chat with a Librarian.
POWER Kids offers 24/7 access to several E-resources designed for kids to easily use.
When logging into Power Library resources you must enter P00 followed by your library card number.

Borrow hundreds of different E-books and E-audio books any time, anywhere!

To access E-books and E-audiobooks through overdrive: you can use the link on this page. To sign in you must enter your Library card number as is appears on your library card. You may also be prompted to enter a pin number. This is set automatically to the phone number we have on file for you. From there you may browse and download E-books and E-audiobooks to read on your computer, smart device, or kindle e-reader. You can also download the Libby app straight to your smart device. The login process is very similar. You will be prompted to find your library. Search for Ford City Public Library and select the option that says Newcastle. Enter your information the same as you would on the Overdrive website.

Memrise is a free learning platform which has all sorts of courses. It includes 200+ language courses and many other topics too. Free on web, Android and iOS! Pro subscription at $8.99/month gives you access to an extra set of learning games and includes downloads of any courses for offline use.
Finding Your Way in PA is a Pennsylvania based mobile and desktop app designed to share services, resources, and information with young people and families, particularly those experiencing homelessness. While using the app, users can search for and request assistance with services and resources in their current location, local communities, and throughout PA to connect them with helpful supports.
