Our Mission
A Window to the World - The Kittanning Public Library exists to be a window to the larger world by providing for the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of the community.
The Kittanning Public Library works to meet this mission by providing an organized collection of print, multimedia and electronic resources. The library shall actively encourage the use of its materials, seek to keep the community informed of resources available, and foster the intellectual growth, character, and cohesiveness of the community.
Membership
Residents of Kittanning, West Kittanning, and Applewold Boroughs are eligible for a FREE membership to the library.
Non-Residents may purchase one of the following memberships:

1-yr Family Membership: $30

3-mo Summer Membership: $5.00

1-yr Senior (62 and older) + Veterans Membership: $15
Materials are lent for 2 weeks at a time. We are a fine free Library. You can apply in-person at the library for a card. Proof of identity is required. We accept cash, card, or check.
