Kittanning Library is Striving to be a Gold Star Library!

 

PA Forward is an organization that began a campaign to educate every Pennsylvania citizen in different forms of Literacy, focusing on Basic Literacy, Information Literacy, Civic and Social Literacy, Health Literacy, and Financial Literacy. These different literacies are meant to help us grow, learn, and have fun doing it. While our library has already offered programs pertaining to many of these literacies, we will now be recognized for offering more programs with these literacies for you, our community!
You might see the logos in our newsletters, on our front window, walking the shelves, on our fliers, and more as we continue to strive for our Gold Star library status. Please encourage us to move forward by showing up to our programs and tagging our efforts on social media. We're excited to make this journey with you!
